HOUSES ON THE GREEN BELT
Carmunnock is presently under threat, in terms of the loss of significant areas of Greenbelt land, which is and has been the subject of residential planning applications.
At this time, the land to the southern approach to the village has been designated for the construction of 54 units , whilst the grounds within the Carnbooth estate are subject to a planning application for an additional 36 units.
The Community Council continues to oppose and object to such proposals and encourages like minded individuals to do like wise.
